Primo Rosso

Available from novembre 2021

It was born as a drinkable Merlot-based wine. Towards September we hand pick the grapes, which come from marl and ferrous soils. We carry out the vinification in steel, with a maceration lasting a couple of weeks. The last stages of refinement are carried out in the Sirio’s amphorae. Fresh, velvety, and soft on the palate, it is an all-round wine to be drunk in company.

Appearance: ruby, with purplish highlights., Bouquet: red cherry and raspberry fruit, refreshed by less matured hints of herbal essences and medicinal herbs., Tasting notes: supple and mineral, smooth, soft, and almost sweet tannins.

Roi Clâr grapes come from mature and, in some cases, centennial vines. Our wine research aims at obtaining unusual and courageous products without at the same time abandoning their sense of good and health.

Our wines are not characterized by high volatile acidity; we always try to carefully manage and control all the possible oxidation-reduction phenomena.

The Linea Primo wines are crisp, straightforward, and intriguing but at the same time genuine, whereas the Linea Cru wines are complex, mature, honest, deep, soft, and mineral.
